Friends of St Margaret's

Who are the Friends?
The Friends of St. Margaret’s is a registered charity that was set up as the Parent-Teacher Association where we come together to organise a wide variety of events in order to raise money for the school and to build the community spirit within the school. Most importantly it’s also a chance for the children and their families to have some fun!

Friends is a great way to meet others within our school community across multiple year groups.  All are welcome and everyone has a skill they can lend, even if you don't know it yet! Please do come along to find out more, volunteer and give back to our wonderful school!

Upcoming Events

• Easter Egg Raffle - Thursday 3rd April at 3.30pm. Donations welcome, please drop them at the school office. Tickets are on sale before and after school.
• May Fair - Saturday 10th May. New volunteers are always welcome!

Spring Term 2025

We welcomed back Queen Mary University London to deliver science education shows to all years. Year 6 had a fantastic trip to the University for a science packed day. If you would like to find out more about where money raised is spent, please read the annual report below. If you have any ideas for events, fundraising or where funds could be well spent, please do get in touch with us. 

Easy way to raise funds!

If you’re doing online shopping, did you know that you can raise funds for the school at the same time? Search for all your high street stores through the fundraising page Give as you Live and set Friends of St Margaret’s Lee Church of England School as your chosen charity. www.giveasyoulive.com. It costs you nothing but one extra mouse click but has already raised over £1,000 for the school!
